Job summary

The Park District of Oak Park is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead maintenance and operations across facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with the district's strategic plan. You will direct a multi-disciplinary team, manage budgets, and drive long-range facility strategies.

Responsibilities include overseeing preventive maintenance, asset management, and vendor coordination, while prioritizing safety and operational excellence within Oak Park facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or a related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in managing preventive, predictive and general maintenance programs.
• 4+ years of supervision experience and budget oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direct supervision to Maintenance & Operations staff.
• Develop long-range facility maintenance, lifecycle replacement and asset management plans.
• Administer maintenance programs using Work Order systems (predictive, preventive, corrective).
• Ensure safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist with annual budget development, tracking and cost analyses.
• Coordinate bids, quotes, and contractor management for services and equipment.
• Oversee building systems, renovations, and infrastructure projects.
