Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must possess FEMA 100, 200, and 700 certifications, or the ability to obtain within the first six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of manual, semi-skilled and skilled maintenance tasks for City facilities and infrastructure.
• Operate light trucks and power equipment; use tools to complete carpentry, masonry, painting and landscaping tasks.
• Maintain irrigation, sewer and drainage systems; repair playgrounds and ball fields as needed.
• Assist with street maintenance, signage, and custodial duties as assigned.
• Support emergency operations during tropical storms, hurricanes, floods, or other events.
