Tulsa County is seeking a Parks Maintenance worker to uphold the cleanliness and safety of LaFortune Parks facilities. Under supervision, you will perform cleaning, trash pickup, and light maintenance across park properties.

Organization Parks Maintenance LaFortune Pay $14.86 Pay Frequency Hourly Full Time / Part Time Full time Job Summary Under direct supervision, maintains the premises of Parks Facilities, keep them clean and orderly by performing the following duties:

Job Description Safety-Sensitive Position: Yes (as defined under Oklahoma Statute Title 63 § 427.8 All candidates conditionally offered transfer, promotion or initial hiring into a DOT/safety-sensitive position shall submit to testing for drugs and alcohol and test negative before performing any job functions that are safety-sensitive or require a CDL. External job applicants with a confirmed positive drug or alcohol test result shall be denied employment and shall be required to wait one year before applying for another position within Tulsa County.

Essential Job Functions Cleans and maintain Parks Facilities. Uses cleaning tools and other products to create a clean and healthy environment. Keep restroom clean and stock with supplies. Cleans and polishes windows, walls, and hardware using prepared cleaning agents. Sweeps and mops floors as needed. Clean up spills and mops floors dry. Picks up trash in public areas. Perform snow removal, sand bagging, and cleaning of properties. Perform other duties as assigned.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory Control software, Word Processing software, and Internet software.

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED; plus, two years related experience and/or training. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, of diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
