Job summary

Interstate Parking Company in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Maintenance team member to keep parking gates, doors, and technology kiosks running smoothly. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot machinery, and carry out preventive tasks to minimize downtime.

The role requires the ability to work outdoors year-round, lift up to 25 lbs, and communicate effectively with the operations team. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with competitive benefits and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Some technology/mechanical ability and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Experience with machinery, tools, and technology.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outside year-round.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of parking gates, doors, and technology kiosks.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and technological issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
• Cleaning and janitorial duties: litter removal, trash removal, snow removal, sweeping and mopping, pressure washing.
• Respond promptly to emergency repairs to maintain uninterrupted services.
• Collaborate with operations to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Change out signage for lots.
• Ensure safety standards and regulations compliance.
