Qualifications

• One year of general experience installing, repairing, and maintaining parking control or similar electronic equipment.
• Associates degree in electronics, electrical repair or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic parking systems (ticket dispensers, gates, fee computers, counters, intercom).
• Assist with CCTV systems including servers and data management.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment at component level.
• Inspect, test, and calibrate equipment for proper operation.
• Inspect and repair wiring and components; recommend replacement when needed.
• Perform emergency field repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist with ordering materials, parts, and supplies.
• Communicate effectively with City staff, vendors, contractors and the public.
