Grand Valley State University is seeking a part-time, temporary Parking Operations Assistant to support the Parking Operations and Systems Technician Team. The role involves answering parking lot phone calls, troubleshooting entry and exit issues, monitoring equipment, and assisting with events and student staff supervision.
Weekend and evening shifts are required. You will process requests, maintain supplies, and help with event validation codes.
This position is a part-time temporary position, not to exceed 29 hours per week. This position will assist the Parking Operations and Systems Technician Team with responding to parking lot phone calls, troubleshooting common entry and exit issues, and answering parking-related questions. This person will also support the ongoing operation of parking equipment by monitoring supplies and restocking machines with paper and other necessary materials. In addition, this position provides administrative support for parking events, including processing event parking requests and assisting with event setup and support with student employee supervision. Weekends and nights are required.
$18.00 per hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.
