Job summary

Colonial Parking Inc. in Tysons, VA is seeking a Shift Manager II to assist the Operations Manager in running a complex parking site with multiple employees and potentially automated systems.

You will issue tickets, collect payments, process exceptions, maintain the cashier area, enforce safety procedures, supervise daily activity reports, and ensure consistent customer service and site upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle.
• Professional and friendly demeanor with customers and staff.
• Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Issue tickets to customers recording the required information.
• Collect payment by cash, credit card, or validation per SOP.
• Process exception transactions (lost tickets, grace period, etc.).
• Provide correct change and issue receipts for all payments.
• Maintain a neat cashier booth and clean windows, free of debris.
• Uphold company service standards and uniform appearance.
• Ensure sites are maintained and safety procedures followed.
• Determine maintenance needs and forward to Operations Manager.
• Supervise daily activity and accident reports.
