Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members to support store operations, including cart handling, trash collection, cleaning, and customer service. The starting wage is at least $13.25 per hour, with experience-based adjustments on the union pay scale.

Flexible scheduling is required to cover our busiest days, and you will interact with customers across multiple departments. This role offers growth opportunities within a family-oriented retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service.

Hiring Immediately at no less than $13.25/hour. Starting rate is based on experience and the Union Pay Scale.

Required Scheduling Availability: Days are flexible, but you must be available on our 3 busiest sales days (F, S, S) and you must be available between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm.
