Fishbeck in Kalamazoo is seeking a Parking Engineer Intern to support parking planning, new construction, and restoration projects within the Parking Department. You'll assist with design, evaluations, reports, and construction administration while learning from a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current enrollment in civil or architectural engineering, a willingness to learn, and good communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited civil or architectural engineering program.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a variety of challenging projects.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software is an asset.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the Parking Department on parking planning, studies, new structure design, and restoration.
• Assist with office design work, field evaluations, reports, and construction administration.
• Work closely with technical staff to support project development and execution.
• Help solve complex engineering problems by applying practical and innovative approaches.
• Engage in all stages of project delivery, from design through implementation.
