City of Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Shift Coordinator to oversee parking enforcement specialists and lead daily operations in the Parking Services Division. The role requires directing staff, handling complex cases, and ensuring compliance with parking regulations.

The ideal candidate will have several years of enforcement experience, Florida certifications, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays within a busy urban setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency is required.
• Three or more years of experience in parking systems and enforcement or related fields.
• Florida Parking Enforcement Certification must be attached to the application.
• Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Veterans' preference requires DD214 and service disability documentation when applicable.

• Provides direction to parking enforcement specialists by issuing daily assignments.
• Oversees shift activities and assigns work locations.
• Handles more complex enforcement cases and investigates complaints.
• Patrols assigned areas and writes summons for violations.
