Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Parking Enforcement Agent to enforce local ordinances and assist customers with parking needs. You will accurately key vehicle license plates with a handheld system to issue citations and monitor on-street parking along an assigned route.

Qualified candidates have a CA driver's license, enforcement or security experience, and the ability to work outdoors, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• CA driver’s license (minimum 2 years)
• Enforcement/security experience (at least 6 months)
• Ability to work outdoors in elements/weather
• Knowledge of local streets/directions
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-street parking and enforce ordinances along assigned route.
• Issue approved parking citations per policies and procedures.
• Upload handheld device for current information daily.
• Screen for placards and permits within approved areas.
• Resolve customer complaints per policies and procedures.
• Maintain and care for company-issued equipment.
• Assist with special assignments and projects as requested.
• Other related duties as assigned.
