Job summary

The Car Park, LLC is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer to monitor and enforce parking rules across assigned urban areas. You may patrol by car or on foot, write warnings and citations, and report hazardous conditions or incomplete signage to keep public spaces compliant and safe.

Ideal candidates bring a professional appearance, calm demeanor under pressure, and strong communication skills while supporting ongoing staff training and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 19 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor street parking, parking lots and structures to identify violations and write citations.
• Patrol assigned areas by vehicle or on foot to ensure compliance with parking ordinances.
• Issue warnings and citations for illegally/illegally parked vehicles.
• Observe hazards and report signals or street markings in need of repainting.
• Set up and remove barricades and temporary signs; conduct security checks.
• Train new or temporary staff in PEO duties; maintain company-issued equipment; perform related duties.

This position enforces parking regulations in an assigned area while driving a parking enforcement car, riding a bicycle, or walking on foot.Patrol an assigned area by vehicle or on foot to ensure public compliance with existing parking ordinance.Write warnings and citations for illegally or improperly parked vehicles.Observe and report hazardous conditions such as missing traffic signals or signs, and street markings that need to be repainted.Abandoned vehicle response and resolution.Set-up and remove barricades and temporary signs.Conduct security checks of parking facilities.Train new or temporary staff in the technical aspects of the PEO position.Maintain and care for all company issued equipment.Perform related duties as assigned.IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLSThe successful candidate sincerely enjoys creating a positive experience for customers and coworkers.
