Job summary

The Car Park, LLC is seeking a Traffic Control Officer to monitor street parking, parking lots and structures in Memphis, TN. You will enforce local parking regulations, issue warnings and citations, and patrol by car, bicycle, or on foot to ensure compliance.

Ideal candidates enjoy helping customers, communicate clearly, stay calm in busy environments, and present a professional appearance. A high school diploma, 19+ years old, and a valid driver's license with a clean record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work varied shifts.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned area by vehicle or on foot to enforce parking regulations.
• Write warnings and citations for illegally or improperly parked vehicles.
• Observe hazards and report needed repairs or signage updates.
• Conduct security checks of parking facilities.
• Train new or temporary staff in PEO-related duties.
• Maintain and care for company-issued equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

This position enforces parking regulations in an assigned area while driving a parking enforcement car, riding a bicycle, or walking on foot.Patrol an assigned area by vehicle or on foot to ensure public compliance with existing parking ordinance.Write warnings and citations for illegally or improperly parked vehicles.Observe and report hazardous conditions such as missing traffic signals or signs, and street markings that need to be repainted.Abandoned vehicle response and resolution.Set-up and remove barricades and temporary signs.Conduct security checks of parking facilities.Train new or temporary staff in the technical aspects of the PEO position.Maintain and care for all company issued equipment.Perform related duties as assigned.IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLSThe successful candidate sincerely enjoys creating a positive experience for customers and coworkers.
