Legacy Parking Company in downtown Atlanta is seeking a Parking Customer Service Attendant to ensure smooth operations in all weather while walking designated areas of the garage and assisting the public. This outdoor role requires extended periods of walking during the shift and a focus on high-quality customer service.

You will greet customers, help with pay machines, direct traffic to parking spaces, and respond to questions in a professional manner during the Tue-Sat 2pm-9pm schedule.

Legacy Parking is looking to add a Parking Customer Service Attendant to our team in downtown Atlanta!

Position Summary

The Parking Customer Service Attendant is responsible for walking designated areas of the garage to ensure compliance with parking regulations, assisting with payment-related questions and providing a high level of customer service to the public. This is an active, outdoor role requiring extended periods of walking throughout the assigned shift in all weather conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet arriving and departing customers in a friendly and courteous manner.


• Act as traffic controller to direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.


• Assist guests in operating pay machines.


• Control traffic at entrances and exits, as needed.


• Provide assistance to customers who may have forgotten where they parked.


• Use respectful communication to assist guests with questions, problems, or concerns.


• Communicate professionally with the public, clients, and internal staff


• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Physical Requirements

This position involves significant physical activity. Candidates must be able to:

• Walk continuously for extended periods (4–8+ hours) throughout each shift


• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow


• Stand, bend, and move for the duration of the shift


• Carry and operate handheld citation equipment and communication devices

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)


• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form


• Basic computer or mobile device proficiency for data entry and reporting


• Strong attention to detail and ability to apply regulations consistently and fairly


• Professional demeanor and ability to interact courteously with the public in challenging situations


• Availability Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-9pm

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in parking enforcement or a customer-facing field role


• Familiarity with parking management software or citation issuance systems
