Issue citations; work outside; operate a cash operations booth; address upset customers in courteous and professional manner; walk and stand for long periods of time; use of a two-way radio; operate a hand-held ticket writer; lift up to 20lbs; provide customer service; follow written and verbal directions; and provide instructions and directions.
Monday – Friday 40 hours/week; 1st Shift (7:00 am to 4:00 pm); and some weekends and holidays with occasional overtime.

The Assistant Shift Leader plays a key role in ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining high customer service standards, supervising personnel, and supporting compliance with university and departmental policies and procedures.
Effective parking operations are essential to supporting the University of Kentucky community, including students, employees, patients, and visitors who depend on safe and efficient access to campus facilities. The Assistant Shift Leader helps ensure consistent service delivery, operational accountability, and positive customer experiences across parking enforcement and attendant operations.
As campus activity continues to evolve and parking demands remain high, Transportation Services relies on strong frontline leadership to support employees, maintain operational standards, resolve customer concerns, and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.

Experience with T2 Systems Flex Software and Hand-held Ticket writers. Also prefer supervisory experience and highly desire candidates with a valid drivers license and the ability to drive.
