Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is hiring for a parking attendant in Washington, DC. You will direct customers to spaces, count vehicles, and ensure the lot remains clean and presentable. You may issue warnings for policy violations and assist customers with parking while maintaining a professional uniform.

The role requires ability to read and write simple notes, and to communicate effectively with customers and staff. Availability for various shifts, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Direct customers to available parking spaces and count vehicles on location.
• Write and issue violation warnings for policy violations.
• Patrol parking levels on foot or in carts and assist customers with parking.
• Maintain professional appearance and be in uniform on shift.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Assist with maintenance tasks and other duties as needed.
