SP+, a Metropolis Company, is seeking a Parking Enforcement Officer in Las Vegas. The role involves monitoring streets and lots to enforce parking rules, answering questions, and issuing citations with handheld devices.

You will work independently, maintain safety, and support event staff and maintenance teams. Qualifications include a valid driver's license, ability to work in all weather, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to use a handheld computer.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Ability to understand and apply parking regulations.
• Ability to interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner.
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.

Aufgaben

• Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, other public areas to ensure compliance with parking policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies.
• Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance with a computerized handheld device or manual tickets; impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Work independently, using judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment and facility upkeep and maintenance tasks.
• Assist in the collection and security of parking revenues and fees.
• Assist event staff with parking for events, including setup and traffic control.
• Assist with permit sales duties during peak seasons (data entry, mailings, frontline customer service).
• Other related duties as assigned.
