SP+ in Decatur, GA is hiring parking enforcement staff to monitor streets and lots, ensuring compliance with policies. You will provide directions, issue citations, relocate vehicles when needed, and support event and office staff with permit sales during peak periods.

Work is conducted solo, requiring good judgment, strong customer service, and the ability to operate meters and handheld devices in all weather. Must be 18+ with valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the geography of the area being enforced.
• Hazards and safety precautions awareness.
• Ability to use a handheld computer.
• Ability to operate a motorized vehicle or bicycle.
• Ability to understand and apply parking regulations.
• Ability to interact with others in a courteous manner.
• Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated streets, lots, garages, or campus to ensure compliance with parking policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions about directions, events, building locations and policies.
• Issue citations and warnings for non‑compliance; impound, boot or relocate vehicles as directed.
• Work alone and apply judgment with tact and diplomacy.
• Assist maintenance staff with parking equipment and lot upkeep, including meters and signs.
• Assist in collecting revenues from meters and pay‑on‑foot devices.
• Assist event staff with parking for events and lot usage control.
• Assist office staff with permit sales during peak seasons; data entry and frontline service.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• Enforcement officers are not sworn police officers and have no arresting authority.
