Job summary

Oak View Group seeks a Parking Attendant for the Blue Arena and The Ranch parking lots in Loveland, CO. You will ensure smooth ingress and egress, direct vehicles and guests, and uphold safety and venue policies during events.

Role requires flexibility, basic OSHA awareness, and strong guest communication. Part‑time hours apply with benefits described for Colorado PT employees.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Prior parking/traffic experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• General knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
• Must work outdoors and handle exposure to extreme heat/cold.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push and kneel for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide directions to patrons entering and exiting parking lots.
• Maintain a calm, inviting demeanor with guests during events.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Enforce Oak View Group policies and procedures.
• Prepare for each event by obtaining all relevant show information.
• Move patrons through entry points and parking areas quickly and safely.
• Assist with enforcing the clear bag policy for attendees.
• Direct patrons to appropriate entrances and areas with public access.
• Engage with event supervisors and management as needed for guidance.
• Greet premium parking guests and guide them to access points.
• Greet incoming guests and address their needs and requests.
• Perform related duties as required.

Position Summary

The Parking Attendant will be tasked with providing the highest level of customer service for guests at the Blue Arena and The Ranch parking lots to further increase their overall event experience. You would be responsible for your post location and all things involved with ingress and egress of your scheduled parking event.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.50-$21.50

Colorado PT: Benefits for Part-Time Roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

This position will remain open until November 13, 2026.

About The Venue

Blue Arena at The Ranch Events Complex, located in Loveland, Colorado, is a 6,800-seat multi-purpose venue, which opened in September 2003, and is home to the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League. The arena, which is owned by Larimer County, is managed by Oak View Group, the fastest-growing firm in the public assembly facility management field with more than 300 facilities throughout the United States and Canada. This multipurpose facility can host hockey, basketball, football, family shows in any configuration, rodeos, diverse concert settings in various capacities, trade shows, and several dozen setups to accommodate just about any event. Blue Arena, less than an hour's drive from Denver and Cheyenne, has become the focal point for sports and entertainment in Northern Colorado. Blue Arena is part of a larger 374,000 square-foot fairground complex called The Ranch, which is the official name of the Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful directions to patrons into and out of the parking lots.
• Keep a calm and inviting demeanor when interacting with patrons throughout the entirety of the event.
• Always maintain a safe environment for you and the guests.
• Enforcing all Oak View Group policies and procedures.
• Prepare for each event by acquiring all pertinent show information.
• Moving patrons through the entry points and parking lot as quickly and safely as possible.
• When patrons are walking into the venue, try to help enforce the clear bag policy.
• Directing patrons through the proper entrances and areas that are allowed for public access.
• Asking and utilizing event supervisors and management staff for assistance whenever needed and reporting all suspicious behavior.
• Greet and provide direction and assistance to premium parking guests while directing them to the correct access point.
• Greet incoming guests and accommodate their needs and requests.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, nights, weekends, evenings, and holidays, with extended hours ranging from a minimum of 4 hours up to 10-12 hours.
• Prior parking/traffic experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• General knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
• Must have the ability to work outdoors and be exposed to environmental conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, stooping, and kneeling without restrictions.
• Strong communication skills.
