Job summary

SP+ Corporation, a Metropolis company, seeks a Parking Attendant in Baltimore, MD. You will direct customers to available spaces, monitor lot occupancy, issue warnings for policy violations, and assist guests with parking questions while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility.

Ideal candidates have reliable attendance, a valid driver’s license if required, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School or 1 month related experience.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies.
• Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, if applicable.
• Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Courteously assist customers by answering questions or directing to the Facility Manager.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and other tasks as directed.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills to garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when necessary, if authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of garage areas and major streets/landmarks in the area.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
