Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Parking Attendant/Valet to provide valet parking and front door guest services for patients and visitors at our Minneapolis location. This role requires a friendly, professional demeanor, reliable transportation, and ability to lift light weights.

The position features an 8-hour day/evening shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of customer service experience and may have prior valet experience.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of customer service experience.
• Preferred 2–5 years of experience as a Parking Attendant/Valet.

Responsibilities

• Provides Responsive Customer Service.
• Answers questions about parking, provide directions and assist customer with entering and exiting the hospital entrance.
• Greets all customers in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner.
• Parking and Retrieving Vehicles.
• Moves vehicle to appropriate valet parking spot promptly to avoid congestion.
• Ensures correct documentation on valet tickets.
• When retrieving vehicle, delivers vehicle to hospital entrance check claim ticket to ensure you're delivering to the right customer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Provide valet parking and front door guest services for patients, visitors, and guests. Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
• 2 to 5 years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Parking Attendant/Valet

Licenses/Certifications

• Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment.

Physical Demands

Sedentary: Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $19.93 to $26.15 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work. Allina Health is committed to adhering with all applicable local, state and federal minimum wage requirements.
