Job summary

Joe’s Auto Parks in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Parking Attendant to maintain our lot, process payments, issue receipts, and help customers with inquiries about rates, services and promotions.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Cashiering experience, 1-2 years or more.
• Able to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions in revenue accounting and cash accounting.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and be available to customer for customer service related issues.
• Possess positive customer service skills.
• Answer inquiries about all rates, services and promotions.
• Utilize etiquette and professionalism during all customer interactions– phone or in person.
• Accurately process revenue transactions and receive payment by cash or credit card.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
• Accurate data entry of valet claim ticket data.
• Salesmanship skills are required to sell memberships.
• Prepare necessary accounting reports, cashier shift reports, gas reports, service reports and any other required reports or forms.
• Comply with company rules, policies and SOPs.
• Able to troubleshoot in a fast paced environment.

Overview

We are looking to recruit an energetic, detail-oriented Parking Attendant to maintain our lot and ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers products, promotions, or item location. You will also respond to complaints, process refunds or exchanges of items, and maintain a clean workspace.

Joe’s Auto Parks, LLC is a privately-owned parking operations and management company with over 90 locations in downtown Los Angeles and other cities. Joe’s Auto Parks provides both self and valet parking services at many of its surface lots and garages.
