Reports to: Front Office Manager/Rooms Manager

General Purpose: Under general supervision, provides porter and valet services to hotel guests and ensures their satisfaction and comfort by promptly and courteously responding to guest requests.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Cleans lobby areas and entrances and maintains free of debris to present a clean and attractive facility to customers.
2. Assists other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
3. Greets and assists arriving guests with luggage, either personally or using a luggage cart; offers to park guest's vehicle and provides claim tickets.
4. Helps departing guests by transporting luggage from room to lobby and assisting with vehicle loading; retrieves vehicles and assists with departure.
5. Responds to guest needs by delivering laundry, newspapers, and additional linens promptly.
6. Explains hotel services and provides up-to-date hotel information to enhance guest relations.
7. Keeps informed about local activities and establishments to answer questions and give directions.
8. Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor with guests, teammates, and passersby.
9. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
• Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Responsible, dependable, punctual.
• Tactful, courteous, discreet.
• Strong communication skills; fluent in English.
• Professional appearance.
• Enthusiastic about 21c and its values.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Willing to train on manual transmissions within 90 days.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• At least two years of driving experience with a clean record.

Physical Requirements:

• Operate luggage carts and standard office equipment.
• Lift luggage up to 70 lbs.
• Prolonged standing, walking, climbing stairs.
• Occasional exposure to outside elements.
