Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years related experience in park security or public-facing roles.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.
• Valid California driver's license and ability to maintain insurability.
• First aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Must pass background check due to safety-sensitive nature.

Responsibilities

• Patrol parks and designated facilities to ensure safety and compliance.
• Educate visitors on park rules and regulations and assist with inquiries.
• Document and report violations and respond to safety concerns or emergencies.
• Provide information and assistance, collaborating with City departments and partners.
• Support park programs and events, and assist with light maintenance and cleanup.
