Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District is seeking a Park Ranger for a part-time restricted role. The position involves patrolling parks and facilities, enforcing rules, and delivering quality customer service to patrons.

Under supervision, you will assist in emergencies, provide first aid when needed, and work with other agencies to maintain safe, orderly park environments. Requires PC 832 certificate and related training.

Qualifications

• Experience with public safety and customer service in a park or recreation setting.
• Ability to follow security policies and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce rules and assist the public.

Responsabilités

• Patrol parks and facilities to ensure safety and security.
• Explain rules to patrons and enforce park regulations.
• Provide crowd control at events and emergencies.
• Report patrol time, incidents, and safety concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with other agencies as needed and issue warnings or citations.
