City of Boynton Beach seeks a Park Ranger to patrol city parks, recreation areas, and buildings, ensuring safety and enforcing park rules and parking regulations. You will engage with the public, provide information, and assist with security for facilities and events.

Responsibilities include reporting on conditions, assisting in emergencies, and performing related duties as needed. CPR/First Aid is required within 12 months of hire, with certifications pursued promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years' park/ranger/security experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 12 months of hire.
• Florida Parking Enforcement Specialist Certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Patrols City parks, recreation areas, and City-owned buildings.
• Enforces park rules, ordinances, and parking regulations.
• Gives information to the public about park facilities and regulations.
• Provides security for park facilities and City buildings.
• Prepares reports as required and assists in special events.
• Renders First Aid/CPR when necessary and assists in crowd control.
