Pinellas County Government is seeking a Park Ranger 1 to support PCR facilities across Pinellas County. This role involves outdoor maintenance, public assistance, and enforcing park rules with safety and customer service at the forefront.

Responsibilities include park operations, grounds maintenance and responding to inquiries while ensuring compliance with ordinances. Candidates must have a valid Florida driver’s license and be able to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of experience in general maintenance, landscaping, park operations or related direct public contact work.
• Ability to work holidays, nights and weekends.
• Must obtain certification as a Parking Enforcement Specialist within one year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure parking fee compliance, conduct surveys and attendance counts.
• Monitor and maintain appearances, cleanliness and sanitary conditions of PCR facilities including restrooms.
• Maintain equipment necessary to perform job tasks.
• Interpret Park ecology to visitors; respond to inquiries.
• Enforce Park rules and county ordinances; issue citations as necessary.
• Perform related work as assigned.
