Job summary

Sesame Place Philadelphia is hiring a part-time Supervisor, Park Quality to oversee grounds maintenance and lead a team focused on keeping the park clean, safe, and vibrant. You will supervise a junior supervisor and the grounds crew, coordinating tasks to present an inviting experience for guests.

The role requires strong communication, a minimum 5 years of supervisory experience, and knowledge of pressure washing and small engine use. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 5 years supervisory experience; grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of pressure washing application and small engine use preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop an assistant business unit supervisor and the grounds maintenance team.
• Maximize park presentation through efficient and effective work while upholding safety and accountability.
• Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as cleaning, pressure washing, hosing, sweeping, and general upkeep.
• Ensure training and compliance with scheduling, time-keeping, PPE, and cleaning chemicals.
• Enforce all safety, park, and department policies at all times.
• Coordinate park cleaning with other departments to minimize operation disruption.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
