Job summary

SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT in San Diego seeks a Park Prep Ambassador to maintain clean restroom and park areas, interact with guests, and support daily park operations with a positive, high-energy approach.

The role requires 18+, availability for early shifts (4:00am–12:30pm), and ability to drive SeaWorld vehicles with a valid CA license. Expect a fast-paced environment with strong emphasis on guest safety and service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work 4:00am-12:30pm (Sunday Availability required).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have valid California driver's license to drive SeaWorld vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of restroom/park areas.
• Operate and maintain blow packs, pressure washers, vacuums, and hoses.
• Stock restroom supplies; wipe tables and chairs in culinary facilities.
• Direct guests to attractions and assist during park emergencies.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and communicate professionally.

What you get to do:

As a Park Prep Ambassador you will be responsible for cleaning restrooms, pathways and stadiums, you'll ensure an exemplary level of guest service, including engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment through the park. Working in a team environment, you will model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality.

You Will:

• Maintain cleanliness of restroom/park areas
• Operate and maintain blow packs, pressure washers, vacuums, fire hoses, etc.
• Stock restroom supplies
• Hose and sweep patios at all culinary facilities
• Wipe tables and chairs at all culinary facilities
• Carries food trays to the tray room at all culinary facilities
• Maintain/organize storage closet
• Notify leadership of any supplies needed
• Special projects throughout the park (detailing umbrellas, tables, and chairs)
• Report any concerns or repair needs in restroom facilities
• Sweep debris from pathways while scanning landscape for trash
• Maintain hand washing stations
• Removes cobwebs, blows leaves, removed puddles on the pathways, and, at time, pressure washes Hoses, scrubs stains, scrapes gum, and pulls weed on pathways
• Empties trash cans and cigarette butt-urns
• Interact with guests and answer guest questions
• Complete opening and closing procedures
• Plunges clogged toilets
• Direct guests to attractions
• Assist with park emergencies, including inclement weather
• Assists other locations throughout the park as needed
• Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests
• Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to work 4:00am-12:30pm (Sunday Availabilty is required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.
• Operate pressure washers, trash compactors and drive vehicles.
• To drive vehicles, you must have a valid California driver's license and be able to meet requirements to drive SeaWorld Vehicles.

What else is important:

Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing) Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays Hours varies depending on the season and the business need. Able to work early mornings, late evenings and holidays.

Compensation:

19.00 USD Hourly
