Job summary

Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Plumber/Pipefitter - Operations to install, maintain, inspect, and repair piping systems across the facility.

This role supports water, gas, steam, and compressed air systems and ensures safe, code-compliant operation. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, coordinating with HVAC/electrical trades, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the US required.
• Ability to obtain facility access credentials (PIV/smart card).
• Pre-employment drug screen, background/reference checks may be required.
• Immunization/testing per client and company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including potable water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, natural gas, and steam piping.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems for HVAC, compressed air, and other mechanical services.
• Inspect and test systems using pressure gauges, leak detectors, and other testing devices.
• Troubleshoot pipe system problems and recommend effective repair strategies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams.
• Coordinate with other trades for system tie-ins or shared utilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and operational checks on pumps, valves, backflow preventers, traps, and related equipment.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Adhere to local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
• Respond to emergency calls and participate in an on-call rotation if required.
• Other duties as assigned
