Job summary

Legends Global in Chicago is seeking an Operations Manager for Maggie Daley Park to lead daily operations of park attractions, events, and seasonal programming, including the Ribbon, climbing wall, light shows, and private rentals. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership and guest services.

You will coordinate with city agencies, vendors, and seasonal staff; manage staffing, safety, budgeting for seasonal programs, and on-site incident management to ensure a welcoming,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience may substitute.
• Certifications in safety, event operations, or project management are a plus.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and ADA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for park attractions, events, and seasonal programming.
• Ensure attractions are staffed, safe, clean, and guest-ready daily.
• Implement standards, cleanliness protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with Park Maintenance, Facility Manager, vendors, and staff.
• Lead event planning, logistics, and on-site execution during key programs.
• Monitor guest experience and manage budget for seasonal features.
• Maintain records of attendance, revenue, staffing, and incidents.
• Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility across park operations.
