Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Operations Manager for Maggie Daley Park in Chicago to oversee park attractions, events, and seasonal programming. You will manage staffing, safety, and guest experience across the Ribbon, climbing wall, and light shows, coordinating with city, vendors, and staff.

The role demands 3–5 years in operations or venue/event management, with knowledge of permits, safety checks, and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience may substitute.
• 3–5 years of operations, venue/event management, outdoor recreation, or public programming.
• Knowledge of event permits, vendor coordination, safety inspections, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round and on weekends/holidays.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certified or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for park attractions, events, and seasonal activities.
• Ensure attractions are staffed, safe, clean, and guest-ready daily.
• Coordinate planning and execution of park events and programming.
• Manage logistics: setup, teardown, staffing, vendors, and sound/electrical needs.
• Serve as on-site lead during events, handling emergencies and guest experience.
• Maintain ADA accessibility and monitor guest satisfaction.
