Job summary

Iredell County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a Park Attendant (Part Time) to open and close parks, keep grounds clean, and assist the public with questions during events. The role serves as the on-site contact for events and ensures facilities and restrooms are stocked and safe.

Candidates should be dependable, able to work nights and weekends, and possess a valid North Carolina driver's license. First Aid/CPR certification is a plus, training may be offered.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
• First Aid and CPR certificates are a plus or willing to obtain via training.
• Experience in event management or sanitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing of parks, maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain restrooms, stock supplies, and empty trash.
• Be on-site contact for patrons during shifts.
• Ensure park facilities and fields are safe and ready for use.
• Enforce departmental and facility rules and regulations.
• Conduct post-event cleanup and facility cleaning.
• Shift may require travel between sites.
