Job summary

Quartz Mountain State Park Lodge in Kiowa County seeks a Construction/Maintenance Technician to care for park property, from lawn care to small-scale construction and repairs.

Responsibilities include plumbing repairs, building renovations, door/window work, lighting and HVAC basics, lock fixes, concrete work, and operation of maintenance equipment. Must meet physical tasks and lifting requirements; a driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of building trade experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to perform bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions; valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains plumbing fixtures and related lines.
• Constructs or renovates buildings; installs doors, windows and fixtures; repairs roofs and floors.
• Maintains lighting, electrical components and HVAC basics; services motors and pumps.
• Repairs locks, keys and security devices; performs general maintenance on grounds and structures.
• Operates and maintains maintenance equipment and tools; supports park property upkeep.
