Job summary

The State of Oklahoma is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Technician at Sequoyah State Park Lodge to care for park property and perform core maintenance duties. The role spans lawn care, minor construction, and repair work to keep facilities functional and safe.

Duties include plumbing and fixture repairs, building renovations, scaffolding, doors and window maintenance, electrical work not requiring a license, and basic HVAC tasks. Outdoor work in varying weather is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have at least two years’ experience in one or more building trade.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Installs, replaces, alters, maintains and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, traps, faucets; minor repairs to laundry equipment or other equipment.
• Performs construction or renovation of buildings; erects and maintains scaffolds, sheds, doors, floors, windows, roofs.
• Maintains and repairs electrical components not requiring a license; services heating, refrigeration and AC equipment.
• Installs and maintains locks; constructs foundations; operates and maintains equipment used in construction and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
