Quartz Mountain State Park Lodge Agency 566 DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM AND RECREATION in Oklahoma is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Technician to care for park property and perform minor construction and repairs.

The role involves installing and repairing plumbing, performing renovations, maintaining electrical and HVAC components, and performing general upkeep. This is a full-time position with starting pay of $16.00/hr and potential increase to $16.48/hr after a one-year trial period.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in one or more building trades.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Some locations will require a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Installs, replaces, alters, maintains and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, traps, faucets.
• Performs construction or renovation of buildings or additions to existing structures.
• Erects and maintains scaffolds, sheds, forms, frames, fences and other structures.
• Alters and repairs doors, floors, partitions, stairways, windows, screens, and other fixtures.
• Maintains and repairs light fixtures, receptacles and switches.
• Operates, maintains and repairs various types of equipment used in construction and maintenance of building and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
