Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a skilled maintenance professional for Hawn State Park, St. Genevieve MO, to perform construction, repairs and routine park upkeep.

The role covers electrical, carpentry, plumbing and masonry work, with weekends required April–October. Responsibilities include leading staff, planning preventive maintenance, procuring supplies, and supporting natural and cultural resource stewardship while complying with park regulations.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of experience across trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, concrete and masonry.
• Ability to operate a vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to work weekends April–October and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in construction projects or facility repairs across trades.
• Perform routine maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Inspect, assign tasks, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Procure materials and manage procurement according to rules.
• Participate in resource management projects.
