Job summary

State-of-Oklahoma is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Technician for Little Sahara State Park. The role focuses on care and upkeep of park property, including lawn care, minor construction and repairs, and routine building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in one or more building trade or an equivalent of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve regular bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting of items up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs park property.
• Installs, replaces, alters plumbing fixtures such as sinks, traps, faucets; makes minor repairs to laundry equipment or other equipment.
• Performs construction or renovation of buildings or additions to existing structures; erects and maintains scaffolds, sheds, forms, frames, fences and other structures.
• Operates, maintains and repairs equipment used in construction and maintenance of building and grounds.
• Constructs, maintains and repairs concrete foundations; builds retaining walls, walks, fireplaces, chimneys, stairways and similar projects.
