The State of Oklahoma is seeking a Law Enforcement Park Ranger for Little Sahara State Park. The role involves patrolling park grounds, enforcing laws, and ensuring visitor safety under the Protective Services umbrella of the Department of Tourism and Recreation.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, being at least 21, and a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, plus CLEET certification or out-of-state equivalent. Expect flexible hours and possible statewide travel.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess Peace Officer CLEET certification or out of state equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Patrols park/resort grounds and enforces laws, rules, and regulations within assigned area.
• Assist visitors and ensure compliance, including traffic enforcement.
• Conduct investigations, issue warnings and citations, make arrests, and complete reports.
• Represents the agency in court and assists other law enforcement agencies.
• Provide security for public, staff, and state property; administer first aid as needed.
