Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks a Construction/Maintenance Technician for Little Sahara State Park. The role covers care and maintenance of park property, from lawn care to minor construction and repair.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds tasks; operate and maintain equipment; and contribute to safe, clean, and welcoming park facilities. Excellent benefits apply after employment milestones.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in one or more building trade or an equivalent of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs park facilities and equipment.
• Performs plumbing fixture maintenance and minor repairs.
• Constructs, renovates and maintains buildings, structures, doors, floors and fixtures.
• Repairs electrical components not requiring a licensed electrician.
• Maintains and repairs lighting, heating, cooling and other equipment.
• Operates and maintains construction and grounds equipment.
