Job summary

Barren River State Resort Park is hiring a Park Worker I in the Housekeeping Unit. The role focuses on cleaning guest rooms, cottages, and common areas, while delivering high-quality customer service in a welcoming park environment.

Reporting to the Housekeeper Supervisor, this full-time position offers excellent benefits and retirement options through the Kentucky state system. Work spans indoors and outdoors with a probationary period of 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of guest rooms and cottages.
• Cleaning of common areas.
• Cleaning of the lodge, restaurant and common area bathroom facilities.
• Setting up and tearing down meeting rooms in the convention center.
• Delivering the very best customer service to all park guests.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance program as directed.
• Assisting the Housekeeping department in various other housekeeping duties for the park.
