Job summary

Prince William County Government's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to keep county parks and facilities safe, clean, and attractive. You will perform turf, landscape, and amenity upkeep and may operate mowing equipment as part of regular duties.

This full-time role runs a 7-day schedule with a typical 7.5-hour day, primarily 7am–3pm, and occasional weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• 8th grade education required.
• 0-12 months of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds at County parks, buildings, and schools.
• Turf maintenance, athletic field maintenance, landscape maintenance, and park amenity upkeep.
• Occasional operation of County vehicles to transport tools and personnel to worksites.
