Job summary

Fairfax County Park Authority in Virginia is seeking a maintenance worker to join a highly skilled team responsible for grounds upkeep across parks and facilities.

You will operate tractors, mowers, chainsaws and related equipment, perform basic repairs, snow removal, and load/unload trucks while following safety guidelines; a valid driver's license is required and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Completion of the tenth grade or equivalent.
• Driver’s license is required.
• Ability to operate hand tools and perform basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine grounds maintenance and facility upkeep across assigned parks.
• Operate tractors, mowers, chainsaws and other park maintenance equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and assist with minor carpentry/repairs as needed.
• Assist with snow removal and general safety compliance.
