Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years experience in grounds maintenance preferred.
• One year training/experience with fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides; grounds maintenance background preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver's License or transfer within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaped medians on FDOT highways and City roadways.
• Maintain landscaping on City properties.
• Perform grounds maintenance: mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, watering, fertilization, and ball field care.
• Operate small power equipment: mowers, edgers, clippers; may operate backhoe tractor, bucket loader, etc.
