Job summary

The City of Dunedin is hiring a Park Maintenance Worker I to care for parks, athletic fields and related structures under supervision. You will perform routine groundskeeping, prepare fields, install and maintain landscape features, and support special events.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for one year of grounds/facilities maintenance experience. Applicants must have a Florida driver’s license and may be asked to operate heavy equipment or work nights, weekends, and

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine groundskeeping duties: mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, trash removal.
• Maintains parks, athletic fields and related structures and equipment.
• Prepares athletic fields for play and supports special events.
• May operate heavy equipment and submit required records.
