Job summary

City of Largo is seeking a Grounds Equipment Mechanic to service and repair light‑duty gasoline and diesel equipment used on the Largo Golf Course and city parks.

Work with considerable independence within established guidelines, reporting to a Parks Supervisor or Greens Superintendent. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two years in maintenance of pumps, valves, motors or controls for lawn mowers and tractors, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years experience in maintenance of pumps, valves, motors and/or controls for lawn mowers, tractors, weed eaters, etc.; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience
