Job summary

City of Coral Springs is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform organization, sanitation, and general maintenance in park facilities under supervision. Responsibilities include cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and assisting with field upkeep.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver's license, and the ability to operate basic tools and pressure cleaning equipment. Weekend shift: Saturdays and Sundays afternoons.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping and grounds keeping, including pressure cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspects park facilities for safety issues.
• Mows athletic fields and cleans park amenities.
• Brings equipment out to West side for repairs and maintenance; paints and cleans as needed.
• Pressure clean park amenities and restrooms; drag and line ball fields.
• Turn on/off field lights for permits and opening/closing restrooms and gates.
