Job summary

City of Bullhead City is seeking a part-time maintenance worker to perform unskilled and semi-skilled labor in parks, facilities, and drainage systems. The role includes preparation of sports fields, clean-up, and basic repairs, with weekend/holiday shifts possible.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, plus a valid driver’s license and potential NIMS training. This 29-hour work week position is non-benefited and involves working with a team to keep city properties safe and well-maintained

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Ability to perform maintenance, repair, construction and clean-up tasks in parks and facilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain NIMS training as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sports fields, including watering, lining, and raking.
• Perform a range of unskilled to semi-skilled maintenance, repair and clean-up duties.
• Operate basic trucks and power tools safely and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with sprinkler system work and routine maintenance of equipment.
