Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years of experience in parks maintenance.
• Valid AZ Driver’s License upon hire.
• Pesticide/herbicide applicator's license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance and repair for landscape and sports turf areas.
• Maintain irrigation systems and adjust irrigation clocks.
• Mow, fertilize, aerate, dethatch, and overseed as assigned.
• Perform ball field maintenance to major league specs.
• Apply herbicides to athletic fields and maintenance areas.
• Inspect playground equipment and related facilities for safety.
• Work outdoors in extreme weather.
