Job summary

The Sabine River Authority seeks an entry-level groundskeeping assistant to help maintain park grounds on a location in Louisiana. The role requires daily cleaning, trash removal, mowing, and basic maintenance tasks with some weekend shifts. Training is provided, and duties may include additional tasks as needed.

Appointment is Probational; salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. This position participates in a model employer program and offers opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Able to perform physical labor outdoors.
• Willing to work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect cabins, restrooms, pavilions, offices and other buildings daily.
• P2ck up, collect, and dispose of trash, debris.
• Mow, trim grass, prune shrubs, weed flower beds, rake leaves and pine straw.
• Change linens, wash dishes, operate laundry equipment, and restock supplies.
• Paint buildings, trash barrels and picnic tables; perform general manual labor.
